Candidate Pay Rate: $150 - $105 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess, plan, and deliver compassionate nursing care for patients with psychiatric conditions
Monitor patient behavior and mental status, and adjust care plans based on observations
Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive, person-centered care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and care interventions

Qualifications

Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings preferred
Strong clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize patient safety
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams
Professionalism and empathy when managing challenging situations

Knowledge & Skills

Nursing care best practices for behavioral health populations
Medication administration and monitoring
Patient assessment and mental status evaluation
Thorough documentation and charting skills
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
Effective verbal and written communication with patients and team members
Familiarity with skilled nursing facility workflows and interdisciplinary collaboration
