Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing accurately and reliably during the evening shift
• Process and prioritize specimens promptly to support timely patient care
• Perform routine quality control and document results per protocol
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation with care and attention
• Communicate results and critical values clearly to clinical teams
• Assist with inventory checks and ensure supplies are ready for the next shift
• Contribute to a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification required upon submission
• Credentialed Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• Ability and willingness to work evenings (2:00 PM - 12:30 AM) with occasional weekends
• Comfortable working independently during evening hours while collaborating with clinical staff
• Available for a travel contract assignment from 2026-07-13 through 2026-10-12

Education

• ASCP or AMT certification required; MLS or MLT education/credential or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in clinical laboratory specimen handling and processing
• Strong attention to quality control and documentation practices
• Familiarity with common laboratory instrumentation and maintenance basics
• Clear communication skills for reporting results to care teams
• Ability to prioritize tests and manage workload during busy evening shifts
