Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adult and/or specialty patient populations
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to policy
Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
Document care and patient information clearly in the medical record
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families to support recovery, self-care, and discharge planning

Qualifications

Valid LPN or RN license (eligible or currently licensed in New Mexico)
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing or professional nursing program
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or required per facility policy
Comfortable working extended day shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM) and adaptable to unit needs
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (for LPN) or accredited nursing program (for RN)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical assessment and bedside nursing skills
Medication administration and basic IV/clinical skills (per license scope)
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
Infection prevention and safety best practices
Effective critical thinking and clinical judgement
