Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with activities of daily living
• Perform routine patient checks and report changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning to promote comfort and mobility
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the charting system
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
• Active certification or eligibility to work in Pennsylvania
• Comfortable working overnight hours and adaptable to per-diem scheduling
• Good communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
• Ability to pass required background checks, TB screening, and facility onboarding

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care fundamentals and safe transfer techniques
• Basic vital signs and clinical observation skills
• Infection control and standard precautions
• Clear documentation and communication with nursing staff
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
