Location: Gettysburg, PA
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (varied days), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care and dignity-focused support to residents
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and accurately document vital signs, behaviors and conditions
- Communicate clearly with the nursing team and report changes in resident status
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
- Support residents' comfort and social needs, promoting independence when possible
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (or equivalent) — Pennsylvania certification preferred or eligibility to obtain
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Comfortable working in long-term care or skilled nursing settings; previous experience a plus
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved CNA training program and active CNA credential
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident-centered care
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
- Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility
- Compassionate interpersonal skills and patience with older adults
