Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem, days vary, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
- Document care provided in the resident record with clarity and timeliness
- Support the nursing team by communicating resident needs and observations
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
- Build trusting relationships with residents and support their emotional well-being
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) in Pennsylvania
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and working directly with residents
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Reliable transportation to Gettysburg Center and punctual attendance
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of resident care basics and ADL assistance
- Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with documentation best practices and charting
- Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
- Good interpersonal skills and compassionate bedside manner
- Ability to follow care plans and directions from nursing staff
