Location: Gettysburg, PA
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per-diem (days vary), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC
Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care and support for daily living activities
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and patient status changes
- Communicate observations and concerns clearly to the nursing team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics at all times
- Document care accurately and timely in the patient record
- Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (PA preferred or eligible)
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Comfortable and experienced working the 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM night shift
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
- Basic computer/charting skills and attention to detail
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
- Accurate vital signs measurement and documentation
- Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Infection control practices and PPE use
- Clear communication with patients, families, and clinical staff
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
- Basic electronic charting and documentation skills
