Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in condition accurately
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility and daily hygiene to preserve dignity
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
• Support meal service and feeding assistance while maintaining safety
• Maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment for residents

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (Pennsylvania) required
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy
• Background check and health screenings/immunizations as required
• Comfortable working in long-term care or skilled nursing settings
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player who communicates clearly

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong skills in resident care, ADLs and safe patient handling
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Basic charting and documentation skills; attention to detail
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Teamwork mindset and ability to follow care plans and instructions
