Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Gettysburg, PA
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per Diem, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Night shift (assignments vary by schedule)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the clinical team
- Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
- Maintain a clean, comfortable environment for residents and report safety concerns
- Assist with feeding, bathing, grooming, and toileting while preserving dignity
- Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support resident care
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania or completion of a state-approved CNA program
- Valid CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Comfortable working night shift hours and flexible per diem assignments
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved CNA training program and active CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in basic patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety principles
- Ability to follow care plans and report clinical changes promptly
- Good time management, observation, and interpersonal skills
