Location: Gettysburg, PA
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (variable days), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC
Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care for patients with dignity and respect
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Measure and record vital signs and report changes promptly to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation to support patient care plans
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to ensure safe patient outcomes
- Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety procedures
- Build trusting relationships with patients and their families through clear communication
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Current PA CNA registry certification or eligibility preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and flexible per diem assignments
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care fundamentals and compassionate bedside manner
- Vital signs collection and basic clinical observations
- Infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Accurate documentation and time management
- Teamwork, situational awareness, and clear communication
