Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and assist residents with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document resident status and report significant changes to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers, mobility, and proper positioning for comfort and prevention
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
• Communicate with residents and families with empathy and professionalism

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Pennsylvania preferred)
• CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient care tasks
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Previous experience as a CNA preferred but new grads with training are encouraged to apply

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care and ADL support
• Safe transfer and lifting techniques
• Infection control and basic clinical hygiene practices
• Accurate documentation and observation skills
• Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
• Compassionate communication with residents and families
