Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility support
• Measure and record vital signs and intake/output accurately
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
• Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Follow care plans and facility policies to ensure consistent, high-quality care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — required
• Active/state-appropriate CNA certification or ability to obtain one quickly
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and any facility-required screenings
• Comfort working in a fast-paced care environment and supporting a diverse resident population

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and observational skills
• Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic nursing procedures
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to document care accurately and follow care plans
• Compassion, patience, and a resident-centered approach to care
