Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (evening shift). Days vary based on per-diem scheduling and facility needs.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs and resident conditions accurately and promptly
- Assist nursing team with patient mobility, transfers, and safe positioning
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
- Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and the care team about resident needs
- Support resident dignity and independence while delivering attentive care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania (or eligible to obtain one)
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs, transfers, and basic patient care duties
- Willingness to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Basic documentation skills; experience with electronic or paper charting is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of patient safety, infection control, and basic clinical procedures
- Proficiency in taking and documenting vital signs
- Ability to observe and report changes in resident condition
- Compassionate bedside manner and respectful patient interaction
- Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced care setting
