Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility with dignity
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Document care accurately and promptly in the patient record
• Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics
• Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and other care team members
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients
• Promote patient comfort, privacy, and emotional support during shifts

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
• Hands-on experience in long-term care or acute care settings preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Ability to work night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and pick up per-diem shifts as needed
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
• Proof of required immunizations and background checks as applicable

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care fundamentals and comfortable assisting with ADLs
• Basic vital signs monitoring and infection control practices
• Accurate charting and attention to detail
• Ability to follow care plans and nurse instructions
• Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
