Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Monitor patients and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team
- Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and proper use of assistive devices
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient charts
- Support a positive and respectful environment for patients and families
- Adhere to infection control procedures and facility safety policies
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state certification required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent patient care
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of patient hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Familiarity with basic clinical documentation and charting
- Understanding of infection control and safety practices
- Comfortable assisting with transfers and use of lifting equipment
- Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
