Location: Gettysburg, PA
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (as needed), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents in a safe, respectful manner
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
- Help with feeding and mobility, using safe transfer techniques
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and follow facility protocols
- Collaborate with nurses and the care team to support individualized care plans
- Promote a positive, home-like environment and engage residents in daily activities
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently on per diem shifts
- Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and team members
- Comfortable documenting care and following care plans
- Ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Empathy, patience, and a resident-centered approach to care
