Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (varied days), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening, day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with mobility, bathing, dressing, and toileting while preserving dignity
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Document care accurately and timely in the patient record
Support safe, infection-controlled care by following facility protocols
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and family members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (Pennsylvania) required
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Comfortable with hands-on resident care and physical demands of the role
Reliable transportation for per diem assignments

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care skills and experience with ADLs
Basic charting and documentation skills
Knowledge of infection control and resident safety practices
Clear communication and teamwork abilities
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate bedside manner and person-centered approach
