Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem scheduling (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
- Assist nursing staff with routine tasks and monitoring to support high-quality care
- Document resident conditions and report changes promptly and accurately
- Support safe transfers and mobility assistance while promoting resident dignity
- Build trusting relationships with residents and families through consistent, respectful care
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in good standing
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs, transfers, and basic patient care
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a care team
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Education
- CNA certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
- Basic vital signs and documentation
- Infection control practices and safety protocols
- Effective communication with residents, families, and team members
- Time management and reliable attendance for scheduled shifts
- Compassionate bedside manner and patient-focused mindset
