Contract Type: Per-Diem

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents during the night shift
- Assist with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, feeding and toileting
- Monitor resident condition and promptly report changes to nursing staff
- Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
- Document care accurately and maintain timely communication with the team
- Help create a calm, comfortable environment for overnight rest
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in the state of Pennsylvania
- Comfortable and experienced working overnight shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Ability to pass background check and required pre-employment screenings
- Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered focus
- Reliable attendance and ability to work per diem schedule
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care techniques and safe transfer skills
- Familiarity with documentation and charting best practices
- Ability to observe and report changes in condition clearly and promptly
- Time management for busy overnight routines
- Compassionate bedside manner and respect for resident dignity
- Team-oriented approach to support nursing staff and facility goals
