Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents during the night shift
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Perform routine vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Document care accurately and promptly in the patient record
• Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs
• Offer emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during overnight hours

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania
• Valid BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Comfort working night shift hours and on a per diem schedule
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to resident care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and basic patient care
• Knowledge of infection control and safety best practices
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Good documentation and charting habits
• Strong interpersonal skills and bedside manner
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy setting
