Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and changes in resident condition
• Assist nursing staff with treatments and follow care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Support residents emotionally and promote dignity and independence
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (PA preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working night shifts and adaptable to per diem scheduling
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but new CNAs are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care standards and infection control practices
• Ability to safely assist with transfers, mobility, and ADLs
• Accurate vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented in documentation
