Location: Gettysburg, PA
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care and assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Monitor and record vital signs, report changes promptly to the nursing team
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively during shift handoffs
- Support resident mobility and comfort while promoting dignity and independence
- Collaborate with nurses and staff to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check, TB screening, and required health checks
- Comfortable working night shifts and flexible per diem schedules
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and a team-player attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania
Knowledge & Skills
- Competence in ADLs, resident hygiene, and safe transfer techniques
- Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
- Infection control standards and safe work practices
- Familiarity with common long-term care routines and charting
- Good time management and reliable attendance for scheduled shifts
