Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, days vary, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a Certified Nursing Assistant
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
Maintain accurate documentation of care and resident interactions
Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
Prior experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant preferred but new grads welcome
Basic life support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Strong interpersonal skills and a caring attitude

Education

Completion of an accredited CNA program or equivalent training
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care and resident safety practices
Comfortable assisting with transfers and mobility support
Good communication skills with residents, families, and clinical staff
Attention to detail for accurate charting and reporting
Ability to work independently during per diem shifts and collaborate with team members
