Location: Gettysburg, PA
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem, Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (days vary / not specified)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
- Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics
- Provide compassionate bedside care and emotional support to patients and families
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record
- Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to ensure a safe environment
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (per state requirements)
- Active CNA credentials eligible for practice in Pennsylvania
- Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working night shift hours (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Reliability, compassion, and attention to detail
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in assisting with ADLs and patient mobility
- Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
- Familiarity with patient safety and infection prevention practices
- Good documentation and time-management skills
- Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
- Teamwork, empathy, and effective communication with patients and staff
