Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and self
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to keep everyone healthy
• Communicate empathetically with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to work night shifts and accept per diem scheduling
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
• Comfortable with patient lifting/transfers and basic clinical procedures

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in personal care and ADL assistance
• Knowledge of basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Understanding of infection control and patient safety practices
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
• Good team collaboration and patient-centered communication
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
