Location: Gettysburg, PA
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift (day)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients including assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
- Support safe mobility and fall-prevention measures for patients
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation of patient care and observations
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to ensure exceptional patient experiences
- Ensure cleanliness and infection-control practices are followed at all times
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Comfortable with hands-on patient care and lifting/transfer assistance
- Ability to pass background check, TB screening and required immunizations
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Previous patient care experience is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
- Infection control procedures and hygiene standards
- Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Clear oral and written communication with patients and team members
- Time management and ability to prioritize tasks on busy shifts
