Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Day shift (specific days not specified)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assist with activities of daily living with dignity
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility support
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to nursing staff
Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents
Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families and the care team
Document resident care and observations in the chart promptly and accurately

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate direct care and follow care plans
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently during assigned shifts
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus but not always required

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs and mobility support
Skilled at taking and interpreting basic vital signs
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic charting and documentation skills (electronic or paper)
