Roles & Responsibilities

Provide dependable clinic support for urgent care operations, helping keep things running smoothly
Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up communication with a friendly, professional tone
Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, records management, and documentation
Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure timely patient flow and excellent service
Respond to inquiries and route issues to the appropriate team members with clarity and urgency
Support process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting practical solutions

Qualifications

Proven experience in administrative or clinic support roles, preferably in urgent care or outpatient settings
Strong communication and customer service skills; comfortable interacting with patients and clinical staff
Proficiency with electronic health records or practice management systems is preferred
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to work independently in a remote contract role while staying engaged with the team

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant certificate preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with scheduling best practices and patient intake workflows
Solid computer skills including MS Office and web-based applications
Comfortable learning and using EMR or clinic-specific software
Good judgment in routing clinical and non-clinical issues to the right parties
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of basic privacy and confidentiality principles, including HIPAA awareness
