Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning with attention to comfort
• Maintain accurate documentation of care, meal breaks, and relevant observations
• Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — applicable for VT/NH practice
• Ability to work overnight/night shift hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) on a per diem basis
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment and supporting a diverse patient population
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-player mindset
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain (if not currently held)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and resident care best practices
• Comfortable with vital signs, transfers, feeding assistance, and personal care tasks
• Strong observational skills and ability to communicate changes in patient status
• Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks during overnight shifts
• Respectful, empathetic bedside manner and professional conduct with patients and families
