Roles & Responsibilities

• Complete registration and patient access tasks accurately and on time to keep the front-end running smoothly
• Perform financial clearance and insurance verification so patients have clarity before care begins
• Process cashiering duties with attention to detail and HIPAA-compliant confidentiality
• Respond promptly, professionally and courteously to patient and family needs to deliver a positive experience
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with teammates across Revenue Cycle Management
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts to make processes better for everyone
• Prioritize and organize tasks to meet productivity and quality standards
• Follow all safety, health and HIPAA regulations to protect patients and the organization

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Minimum 6 months of Patient Access, Medical Billing, or Customer Service experience (required)
• Proven skills with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), Windows-based applications, and 10-key calculators (required)
• Ability to travel to or between clinics if assigned as a float (required for float positions)
• Strong communication, time management, and customer service orientation
• Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
