Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition promptly
• Support safe transfers and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the nursing team
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through empathetic interaction

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained shortly after hire
• Ability to provide safe, patient-centered care and follow facility policies
• Clear background check and any facility-required health screenings or immunizations

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and mobility support
• Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, observing and reporting changes
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Compassionate approach to eldercare and rehab populations
