Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as needed), 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM Night shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a Certified Nursing Assistant
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to prevent injury
Document resident observations and care delivered in facility records
Communicate effectively with team members and families to coordinate care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass required background check and drug screen
Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and standing for long periods
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care and infection control practices
Skill in taking vital signs and observing clinical changes
Ability to assist with ADLs and safe patient handling
Familiarity with documentation best practices and attention to detail
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting
