Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in line with care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
- Monitor resident condition, report changes promptly, and escalate when needed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centered care
- Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
- Maintain accurate clinical records and follow infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in good standing (state licensure required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
- Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/practical nursing program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in medication administration and basic wound care
- Comfortable with electronic charting and clinical documentation
- Strong assessment skills and ability to recognize changes in condition
- Team-oriented with good time management and prioritization
- Knowledge of infection control standards and safety practices
