Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and support with daily living activities
• Assist nursing staff with vital signs, ADLs, and timely documentation
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly and clearly to the care team
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
• Support mobility and fall prevention efforts with careful, patient-centered assistance
• Build trusting relationships with patients and families through attentive care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential recognized in Pennsylvania
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a care team
• Comfortable with physical aspects of the role, including transferring and assisting patients

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with patient hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Basic understanding of infection control and safety procedures
• Comfortable with charting and following care plans accurately
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Compassionate bedside manner and patience working with diverse populations
