Location: Lancaster, PA

Start Date: 05-15-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts (total hours: 8); exact start/end times and scheduled days to be confirmed with the facility

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and monitor patient status throughout your shift
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
Collaborate with RNs, physicians and the care team to support individualized care plans
Perform routine assessments, report changes promptly, and escalate concerns when needed
Maintain accurate and timely charting and documentation in patient records
Support safe patient transfers, hygiene, and activities of daily living with respect and dignity

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — ability to practice in Pennsylvania preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification (or able to obtain upon hire)
Comfortable with medication administration, basic assessments, and charting
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first mindset
Previous long-term care or acute care experience a plus (but we welcome motivated new grads)

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and basic clinical skills
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Electronic health record/charting familiarity
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
