Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in resident condition accurately
• Support safe transfers, mobility, and fall prevention measures
• Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
• Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Active or eligible to obtain New Mexico CNA credential
• Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Prior experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings is a plus
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient-centered care and basic nursing assistant skills
• Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
• Accurate documentation and charting practices
• Infection prevention and standard precautions
• Ability to observe and report changes in resident condition
• Compassionate interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
