Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to residents, helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility, promoting independence and dignity
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
• Document care provided accurately and timely in resident records
• Support safe meal service and hydration, including assistance with feeding when needed
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and families to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (required)
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar healthcare setting preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
• Ability to pass background checks and required immunizations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a genuine caring attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of activities of daily living and basic nursing care
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
• Comfortable with documentation and basic electronic charting
• Good time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism with residents and families
