Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as needed), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living—bathing, dressing, grooming—with dignity and respect
Provide compassionate bedside care and support for mobility and transfers
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
Take and document vital signs and intake/output accurately
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Support mealtime assistance and ensure residents' comfort during meals
Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans
Document care thoroughly and communicate effectively during shift handoffs

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
State-required documentation and ability to work in New Mexico
Comfort with night shifts and providing hands-on resident care
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude
Previous long-term care or rehab experience is a plus

Education

Completion of state-approved CNA training program
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and resident care best practices
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Basic charting and documentation skills
Ability to follow care plans and report clinical observations
Good interpersonal skills and teamwork
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
