Location: Philadelphia, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per Diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Day shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Provide compassionate bedside care and emotional support to residents
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control procedures
Document care activities in the assigned records system promptly and accurately
Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to support resident care plans

Qualifications

Current and active CNA certification (required)
Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with ability to work in Pennsylvania
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background checks per facility policy
Basic understanding of resident rights, dignity, and privacy
Reliable transportation and punctuality for per diem shift coverage

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care skills and comfort assisting with ADLs
Ability to take and record vital signs and recognize changes
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and team members
Basic charting/documentation skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with infection prevention and safety protocols
Teamwork mindset and ability to follow directions from nursing staff
