Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and mobility support
• Perform routine documentation and charting with attention to detail
• Support infection prevention and adhere to facility safety protocols
• Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver excellent patient-centered care
• Help create a comforting environment that promotes dignity and respect

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice
• Active CPR/BLS certification required or obtained upon hire as facility policy dictates
• Demonstrated ability to provide safe, compassionate patient care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to per diem scheduling needs

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care techniques and ADL assistance
• Observation and reporting of patient status and vital signs
• Safe transfer and mobility assistance
• Basic infection control and hygiene practices
• Professional documentation and time management
• Strong interpersonal skills with patients and families
