Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to geriatric residents
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs and observe changes in resident condition
• Support safe mobility and transfer assistance to prevent falls
• Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with the nursing team and families
• Maintain infection control standards and a clean, comfortable environment

Qualifications

• Current GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification required
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
• Ability to pass background check, TB screening, and any required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
• Reliable attendance and punctuality; dependable transportation to shift

Education

• GNA certification (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in assisting with ADLs and personal care
• Basic vital signs measurement and patient observation
• Understanding of infection control and hygiene practices
• Accurate charting and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a care team
• Compassion, patience, and good interpersonal skills
