Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility and transfers safely
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
• Support rehabilitation goals by collaborating with therapists and nurses
• Create a welcoming, respectful environment that preserves resident dignity

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — required
• Comfortable working per diem, flexible to pick up shifts as needed
• Demonstrated ability to provide safe patient handling and personal care
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to pass facility background and health screenings as required

Education

• Completion of an approved CNA program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in basic resident care and activities of daily living
• Vital signs measurement and basic patient assessment
• Infection control and safe hygiene practices
• Clear, timely documentation and charting habits
• Team communication and following care plans
