Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Support safety and comfort by helping with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Monitor, record, and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
• Respect patient dignity and privacy while following facility policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM)
• Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with strong communication skills
• Ability to follow care plans, facility policies, and reporting requirements
• Previous CNA experience preferred but not required

Education

• Completion of an approved CNA training program or equivalent
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection control and standard precautions
• Clear communication and teamwork within a clinical setting
• Attention to detail and accurate charting
