Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray exams (head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, PE, stroke protocols) with accuracy and compassion
• Operate and maintain GE imaging equipment, ensuring quality images and patient safety
• Document exams and patient care in Meditech in a timely, professional manner
• Triage and prioritize imaging requests in a fast-paced emergency/ED environment
• Work independently to cover CT and X-ray duties while coordinating with nursing and ED teams
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain equipment and supplies for uninterrupted service
• Provide clear communication to patients and clinical teams about procedures and results

Qualifications

• Current CT license and X-ray (radiography) license (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant radiology/CT experience (as stated)
• Comfortable working independently and covering both FSED and main hospital settings
• Familiarity with GE imaging equipment and Meditech documentation (preferred)
• Previous travel assignment experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT protocols and X-ray techniques for emergency care
• Proficiency with Meditech electronic documentation
• Experience using GE imaging systems
• Excellent patient positioning and radiation safety practices
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests in an emergency setting
• Clear communication and teamwork skills when coordinating with ED staff
