Shift Type: AM ambulatory shift, 5 hours (specific start/end times and days not provided)

Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist clinicians with ambulatory patient care and procedures
Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are ready
Obtain and document patient vitals and medical history accurately
Support patient flow by rooming patients and coordinating with clinical staff
Maintain clear, timely documentation in the electronic health record
Participate actively in orientation and on-the-job training

Qualifications

Current Medical Assistant (MA) certification or relevant clinical certification preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Prior experience in an ambulatory/clinic setting is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certificate or vocational training preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient intake, vitals collection, and basic clinical assessments
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
Infection control and safe clinical practices
Good teamwork, time management, and patient communication skills
Comfortable supporting clinical procedures in an outpatient setting
