Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry patients closely and interpret cardiac rhythms to guide care
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
• Perform patient assessments, document findings, and communicate changes promptly
• Respond effectively to emergencies and assist in stabilization when needed
• Complete Trinity specialty competency testing and maintain required skills checklists
• Support a culture of safety, quality improvement and patient centered care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse credential (RN) with license/certificate verification required
• Experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry and telemetry monitoring
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications as listed in the posting
• Ability to complete Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists
• Required pre-employment health items: fit test, drug screen, immunizations and health statement

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
• Medical-surgical nursing principles and patient assessment
• IV therapy, medication administration and emergency response
• Proficient documentation and use of clinical competency checklists
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced clinical settings
