Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care in adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care areas under the supervision of the RT Supervisor and Cardiopulmonary Manager
• Perform advanced respiratory assessments and interventions, including ventilator management and airway support
• Train, mentor, and support RT personnel to elevate team skills and patient outcomes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately and timely to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in cardiopulmonary services and support related clinical programs and initiatives
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and credentialing requirements prior to start

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 2 years of RRT experience required
• Active Oklahoma respiratory license required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Experience in adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care preferred
• Experience training or mentoring RT staff is a plus
• Familiarity with cardiopulmonary services and NIH Stroke Scale is desirable

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of critical care respiratory therapies and ventilator management
• Skilled in patient assessment, airway management, and emergency response
• Comfortable working across adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with clinical teams
• Proficient documentation and adherence to compliance standards
• Ability to train and mentor less-experienced RT staff
