Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality peri-procedural nursing care in the cardiac cath lab for diagnostic and interventional cases
• Collaborate with physicians, CV techs and anesthesia to ensure safe, efficient procedures
• Prepare and manage cath lab equipment and devices (PPM, ICD, Impella and other devices) for procedures
• Monitor patients intra-procedurally and respond quickly to emergent changes
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech and communicate handoffs clearly
• Participate in on-call rotations and support emergent cases as needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license (required)
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience (explicit in job data)
• Cath Lab experience is a must-have — candidates without this will not be considered
• RCIS or Cardiovascular Nurse certification preferred
• Comfort with on-call responsibilities and a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on knowledge of cath lab procedures: Cath, PCI, EP (a-fib), Watchman, TAVR, INARI
• Experience with implantable devices (PPM, ICD) and mechanical support (Impella)
• Strong procedural prep and sterile technique skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
• Proficient documentation and charting in Meditech
