Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, safe patient care before, during and after CT exams
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment accurately and safely, following radiation safety protocols
• Maintain and update CT exam records and documentation in a timely manner
• Support department workflow by stocking supplies and organizing the daily schedule
• Perform quality control and safety checks to protect patients and staff from harmful radiation
• Coordinate with radiologists and the radiology team to ensure efficient, consultative services
• Respond to on-call and callback requests professionally and promptly

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of current CT and X-Ray experience in a hospital setting (required)
• ARRT certification (required)
• BLS (AHA) certification (required)
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Resume, recent skills checklist (within last year) and two supervisory references from the last 2 years required for submission
• Willingness to obtain or reactivate certifications if requested by the facility

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven expertise in Computed Tomography (CT) and general X-Ray procedures
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance practices
• Familiarity with CT equipment operation and maintenance
• Excellent patient care and communication skills, especially in a rural hospital setting
• Ability to manage scheduling, stock supplies, and support department logistics
• Comfort handling on-call duties and urgent imaging needs
• Teamwork mindset and ability to collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary staff
