Roles & Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and prepare them for their visit to ensure comfort and clarity
Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories and patient information accurately
Assist clinicians with procedures and patient care, maintaining a safe environment
Administer medications or injections as directed and document appropriately
Perform basic laboratory tasks such as specimen collection and processing
Update electronic medical records and handle scheduling and patient communications
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure equipment is ready for use

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain during orientation
Comfortable working directly with patients in an outpatient clinic setting
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail and compassion

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant program completion preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with vital signs, injections, phlebotomy and basic clinical procedures
Familiarity with electronic medical records and standard clinical documentation
Good interpersonal skills for patient interactions and team collaboration
Basic infection control and safety practices knowledge
Organizational skills for managing patient flow and administrative tasks
